Garlic Islet One-Push Solution

Quick Answer

For the Final Beta Garlic Islet puzzle, push the red piece nearest the entrance stairs one square inward, directly away from the stairs and toward the back of the board.

For the Final Beta Garlic Islet puzzle, push the red piece nearest the entrance stairs one square inward, directly away from the stairs and toward the back of the board. Leave the other four pieces in place. The completed arrangement makes a Wandering Star appear on the right side of the board.

This one-push solution applies to the demonstrated starting layout with three red pieces and two dark pieces. The Final Beta ended on October 19, 2026; check that your playable build has the same arrangement before copying the move.

Find Garlic Islet in Hexia Zone H83

Garlic Islet is in Hexia Zone H83. Its puzzle area has a raised board reached by stairs, a carrot-shaped audio log nearby, and a smaller reference board on a table in the lower walled courtyard.

The lower board is the clue to the arrangement above. You are reproducing its pattern with the large pieces, rather than playing a normal chess match.

Read the small reference board

  1. Check the carrot-shaped audio log near the puzzle for the local instruction.
  2. Go to the table on the lower level and inspect its small board.
  3. If the stones are hard to distinguish, enter Photo Mode and zoom toward the tabletop.
  4. Match the reference stones to the large pieces using the color mapping below.

Lower reference board with three white stones and two black stones

The reference shows three white stones and two black stones. The white-to-red mapping is the important color difference: you do not need to find large white pieces to reproduce the pattern.

Make the single required push

Return to the raised board and orient yourself from its entrance: the stairs are behind you, and the far fence is beyond the pieces.

  1. Identify the frontmost red piece, the one closest to the stairs and separated from the other four.
  2. Stand on its stair-facing side so you are pushing into the board.
  3. Use Push once. Move the piece one tile straight away from the stairs, keeping it in the same column.
  4. Leave the two dark pieces and the other two red pieces where they started.
  5. Let the movement finish, then look to the right side of the board for the newly appeared Wandering Star.

The move is inward from the entrance, not a side-to-side move or a sequence of moves involving every piece. Once the arrangement matches, collect the star.

If your board has already been rearranged

The one-push shortcut assumes the original five-piece arrangement. If you have moved other pieces, compare their positions with the lower reference board using the white-to-red and black-to-dark mapping. Restore the corresponding pattern rather than repeatedly pushing the same red piece.

No reset button or automatic reset-on-return behavior is established here. The small board remains the useful reference when your starting state differs.
