Quick Answer

Petit Planet is listed for iPhone and iPad, with an expected release date of December 4, 2026. The current App Store listing requires iOS 15.

Petit Planet is listed for iPhone and iPad, with an expected release date of December 4, 2026. The current App Store listing requires iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 15.0 or later on iPad. The base download is marked free.

As of November 2, the expected date is still ahead. The listing is a way to identify and prepare for the release, not proof that the public servers are already available.

Use the current store requirements rather than the older test recommendations.

A store package size is not a guarantee of the final installed footprint. Check your device's current store information before installation and allow for whatever additional data the released client requests.

Find the correct app

Use the Petit Planet route from the official website, then confirm the full title and COGNOSPHERE seller. The Apple app identifier is 6776621908.

Petit Island and other similarly named apps are not alternative names for Petit Planet. Their prices, supported systems, or release dates do not establish compatibility for this game.

The fact that the product is listed in Apple's store also does not establish native macOS support. The current compatibility text names iPhone and iPad systems; follow the device-specific listing rather than treating all Apple hardware as one platform.

Older test requirements are historical

The Final Beta's recommended iOS specification was iOS 14.0 or later, iPhone XS or later excluding iPhone XR, at least 4 GB RAM, and 10 GB available storage. Those were test recommendations, not the current release-store requirement.

For a public-release iPhone or iPad decision, use the current listing's iOS or iPadOS 15.0 requirement. The difference is a reason to check dates and versions instead of combining the most convenient figures from separate builds.

The Final Beta ended on October 19, 2026. A TestFlight invitation or old installation email is not the current public download route.

The Final Beta FAQ also explicitly supported iPad models with equivalent or better chip performance than its recommended iPhone tier. An older video saying an earlier test was not designed for iPad should not override the later FAQ or the current iPadOS compatibility listing.

PC and mobile play

The launch announcement confirms cross-platform play across PC, iOS, and Android. The Final Beta also allowed the same HoYoverse Account to carry data between its permitted PC and mobile devices, although that test restricted each account to one bound PC and one bound mobile device. Those device-lock rules were test conditions, not public-launch account restrictions.

Cross-platform play should still be kept separate from any future Switch 2 transfer or shared-purchase rules, which are not established by the mobile launch announcement.

Languages and purchases

The App Store lists English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

A language listing does not specify every voice-over option or guarantee that every line is spoken. Check the released client's actual text and audio choices if a particular voice language matters to you.

The store's “Free” label concerns the base download. Purchase and loot-box disclosures mean it should not be read as a promise that all optional content is free. Exact launch pack prices are not established by the app listing.

Get help with an account or client issue

Use the in-game Customer Support Center when available. The official store description also lists [email protected] for customer service. Include the platform and relevant error when asking about the released client; a historical TestFlight instruction may describe a different test.

Before installation

Check your own device's compatibility, the listing shown in your store region, and whether the current action is reservation or installation. Use the platform's displayed status rather than expecting an old beta client to provide public access.
