Nalo manages Cafe Untamed in the Galactic Bazaar. To speak with her, type a message. The pre-launch presentation describes her responding to what you say and remembering details such as your outfit or a topic from an earlier visit.
She is a cafe character, so do not assume that finding her requires the same Starsea recruitment sequence as an ordinary residential Neighbor. There is no verified route here for moving her onto your own planet.
Find Cafe Untamed in the Galactic Bazaar

The Galactic Bazaar is the shared social destination separate from your personal planet. Cafe Untamed offers a quieter place to sit and talk within that hub.
Nalo is the name to look for; some older community discussions misspell it as Nola. Those references do not establish a separate cafe character.
There is no confirmed numeric map coordinate, exact quest level, or step-by-step Bazaar unlock sequence on this page. Once the hub is available in your build, look for Cafe Untamed rather than spending voyage supplies searching residential encounter islets.
The conversation feature
The announced interaction is straightforward: type a few lines and Nalo replies. The presentation gives an example of her following up on a fish you had previously mentioned, showing that the conversation is intended to connect with earlier topics.
It also describes awareness of your current outfit. That does not make every reply a factual record of the game world, a source of unlock instructions, or a guaranteed memory of everything you have said.

What older AI-chat reports add

Nalo was discussed as an AI conversation character during testing. Community accounts describe variable results, including repeated questions and imperfect recall. Those observations belong to their test builds; they do not provide a complete specification for launch behavior.
The useful distinction is between the feature's intended presentation and a guaranteed result. Remembering some previous details does not establish unlimited memory. Understanding an occasional message in another language does not establish a complete supported-language list.
For the same reason, a surprising or inconsistent answer should not be treated as a new game rule. Use actual item descriptions, quest prompts, and character profiles for progression decisions rather than assuming every cafe response is authoritative.
Order at the cafe without using AI conversation
In the beta, disabling AI NPC interaction stopped Nalo's free-form conversation but did not remove cafe ordering. Sit down, open the cafe menu, and select the order through that interface.
If you want to change the interaction preference, the demonstrated route was the in-game phone, Settings, then the category with the waving-person icon. The Interact with AI NPCs control affected Nalo's conversation. The separate model-training permission controlled a different choice and did not itself mean conversation was disabled.
That distinction is useful if you arrive at the counter and Nalo is silent: the cafe menu and AI chat are separate interactions. The route describes the beta interface; follow the release build's labels if the menu changes.
Cafe conversation is optional
The pre-launch presentation describes socializing in the Galactic Bazaar as optional. You can explore, watch other players, or sit quietly without being required to participate in every interaction.
That makes the cafe a choice within the hub rather than a replacement for the rest of the game. If your interest is collecting, building, or meeting residential Neighbors, Nalo's conversational feature does not by itself establish an extra recruitment requirement.
Claims that remain unconfirmed
There is no verified special gift list, Bond-level reward track, free-drink command, or secret progression reward for talking to Nalo. Older experiments do not establish that she can change background music, accurately provide your local time, or carry out arbitrary requests.
The cafe is also part of a social destination. No private-chat guarantee or data-retention promise is established here. Treat the supported interaction as talking with the cafe manager in the Bazaar, rather than assuming a separate personal assistant with account-wide capabilities.
