Petit Planet artwork can be used as a personal wallpaper reference, but a verified official wallpaper pack with complete phone, desktop, and 4K downloads is not established here. Choose an actual image whose dimensions and composition fit your screen rather than assuming every preview is a full-resolution wallpaper.
An older Steam Workshop entry titled Petit Planet Wallpaper also exists. Its captured page displays removal and incompatibility notices, so it is not a confirmed working download route.
Choose the composition before the resolution label

A landscape image can suit a desktop screen while cropping badly on a phone. A character portrait may fit a vertical display, but important details can end up beneath a clock, notification area, or icons.
Check three things on the actual image:
- Whether the main subject fits your screen's aspect ratio.
- Whether its real pixel dimensions are sufficient for the display.
- Whether the image remains readable after your wallpaper preview applies its crop.
A thumbnail's file name or a page's use of the word wallpaper does not establish its original resolution. An image can also be good reference art without being large enough for a sharp full-screen background.
Use the static illustration at its actual size
The illustration on this page is a 1600 × 900 landscape image, with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Open or save the image itself for a static background rather than saving a screenshot of the whole article.
At that size it is not a native 1920 × 1080 image and is not 4K. Enlarging it to fill a higher-resolution display does not create additional image detail. A phone's portrait crop will also remove a substantial part of the landscape scene.
For a desktop, preview the full-width composition first. For a phone, check the crop around the clock and notification area before confirming it. If the characters or tent disappear from the crop, choose a different composition rather than assuming the original was made for that screen.
Static art and animated wallpaper are different files
A static image is a picture you select as the background. A Wallpaper Engine scene belongs to a different format and software workflow. A screenshot of such a scene is not the same thing as the scene itself.
The older Workshop listing identifies its type as Scene, with a listed resolution of 1920 × 1080. That specification does not make it a 4K image or a native phone wallpaper.
The older Workshop listing has an availability problem
The captured entry displays notices that it has been removed from the community and is incompatible with Wallpaper Engine. Those notices matter more than the presence of a subscribe button or an attractive preview.
There is no verified working installation or current compatibility result to promise here. Do not interpret the listing's continued appearance in search as proof that the animated wallpaper can still be obtained and used.
Character art can suit a different layout
Character galleries provide another kind of visual reference. A single character on a simpler background can be easier to frame around desktop icons or a phone's clock than a busy scene.
Check the image itself before choosing. The fact that a gallery includes splash art, icons, and other media does not make all of them equally suitable: a small character icon cannot supply the detail of a large wallpaper.
No complete official multi-resolution pack, verified 4K set, or working animated replacement is claimed on this page. Use the visible preview and actual dimensions to decide whether a particular image fits your intended screen.
