Kitchen appliances in Petit Planet include furniture objects such as fridges, microwaves, and range hoods. That furniture category is separate from the Cooking Pot, Blender, and Oven required by particular recipes. A kitchen-looking object is not automatically interchangeable with recipe kitchenware.
The examples below describe beta and pre-release content. Functions, availability, and recipes may change before the scheduled December 4, 2026 launch.
Identify the furniture you want
The Kitchen Appliances furniture category contains these 15 named items:
| Group for browsing | Listed furniture |
|---|---|
| Refrigeration | Dusklight Dual Door Fridge; Firstlight Dual Door Fridge; Retro Orange Fridge; Supermarket Freezer |
| Hoods and wall storage | Dusklight Range Hood; Dusty Rose Range Hood; Firstlight Range Hood; Dusklight Wall-Mounted Utensil Rack |
| Countertop appliances | Bazaar Coffee Machine; Minimalist Microwave; Minimalist Toaster; Minimalist Water Dispenser |
| Stove | Sunbeam Stove |
| Cups and tea service | Ebony & Green Ceramic Cup; Ebony Persimmon Teapot Set |

These groups make the names easier to compare; they do not establish an appliance's interaction rules. For example, the presence of a refrigerator in a furniture list does not prove that food spoils, that cold storage extends shelf life, or that it supplies the chilling step for a noodle recipe.
Choose a furniture item by its full name and check its current shop or crafting information. This category list does not establish a single seller, one shared price, or a common unlock level for all 15 objects.
Check the furniture's own acquisition route
Some pre-release examples have specific places to check:
| Furniture | Listed route | Listed size |
|---|---|---|
| Retro Orange Fridge | Glenn's Goods | 1.0 × 1.0 |
| Minimalist Microwave | Glenn's Goods | 1.0 × 1.0 |
| Sunbeam Stove | Glenn's Goods | 1.0 × 1.0 |
| Bazaar Coffee Machine | Prize Kiosk | 1.0 × 1.0 |
Firstlight Range Hood also has Glenn's Goods and Drifting Stars listed as routes. These examples give you a place to look, not a promise of current stock. They do not establish one common price or unlock condition for the whole kitchen category.
Use the recipe's kitchenware

A recipe identifies its required kitchenware separately from its ingredients. Spring Noodle Soup uses a Cooking Pot; Strawberry Shortcake uses an Oven. Using the same ingredients at a different station does not satisfy that station requirement.
In the beta cooking progression, Mobai installs the Blender and Oven as Cooking Skill increases. Once available, the cooking interface uses the appliance required by the chosen dish. That is the progression to check if a recipe needs equipment you cannot yet select.
The cooking interface in the earlier beta also allowed a choice between the Cooking Pot and Blender at Cooking Level 2. That is a historical progression detail, so check your current interface before treating it as the final launch unlock order.
Discover a recipe through the cooking interface
- Progress through the prologue cooking tutorial when available.
- Interact with the cooking station.
- Choose a recipe and its discovery option.
- Select the required ingredients and eligible kitchenware.
- Read the cooking feedback to identify what still needs changing.

The recipe name can suggest ingredients, but it does not settle every category or rarity requirement. Check the actual result rather than relying on the appearance of the appliance you placed in your room.
Keep furnishing and cooking plans separate
For a furnishing project, make a list of the exact furniture names you want. For a meal, start with the recipe and its station. This prevents spending on a decorative kitchen object when your immediate goal is to cook a specific dish.
A furniture category alone cannot tell you which objects have usable cooking interactions. Inspect the object and the recipe interface in the version you can play before assuming a fridge, microwave, or stove can produce the same meals as the listed kitchenware.
